Call of Leadership

The Call of Leadership

Yesterday on Facebook, I released the trailer for the podcast.

It was bitter sweet.

It was great in that I could show a snippet of the great stories to come.  Interviews that I captured with some spectacular guests.  And I can’t wait to release it into the wild.

Bitter because on my list of top 100 guests … one of them, a former astronaut that walked on the moon, had passed away only 13 days prior to the release of the trailer.

I really wanted to get him on the podcast.  To hear his amazing story.  Learn from his experiences.  To think that one of the last men to walk on the moon could have been on my podcast … it gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.

It just goes to show that the time to strike is now.  Don’t wait.  Don’t hesitate.  Don’t over think it or complicated it.

Just do it.

I’m grateful for the guests I do have.  I’m grateful for the guests that are to come.  I’m looking forward to spending time with more of them.  To hear their stories and get their advice.

To be honest, I’d love to do this full time.

I feel so natural in this environment.  Just asking questions; listening to stories.

Then share them.

I’m grateful the technology exists for us to do this.

I’m grateful for the technology that will come that will allow this to impact even more people.

I’m also grateful that so many people shared the video on their Facebook timelines.  My little video got over 200 views.  I know that pales in comparison to some of the viral videos.

But for starting out, this is a great start.

We can only go uphill from here.
